Well I am new to soap and bathbomb making, I am using melt and pour recipes. I am reading up the internet but getting different advice about how best to store them both after being made! I made some soaps and wrapped them in kitchen roll and after a few days they were all slimy and had 'sweat' so I read to leave them out in the open until about to sell/give as gifts and only shrink wrap them then. But then on here I have read to wrap them straight away, I am confused  also what is best with the bath bombs? I read to wrap them straight away and I did that and strangely it cracked after 1 day of being wrapped but then 2 days later when I unwrapped it, the crack had gone? I am losing confidence already with my new hobby  please help???

Welcome!
If there is any humidity where you are, it's best to tighly wrap your MP soap as soon as it cools off. I store my base in very large ziploc bags to keep moisture out.
If the bathbombs crack, there is either moisture in the air, or you added too much liquid to your recipe.

Bath bombs are tricky to perfect but awesome when you do. I found spritzing with witch hazel was much better than water and not using water based colorants. I live in a really dry climate so the humidity isn't a factor for me...being too dry is.

I leave my bombs out overnight and then either shrink wrap or put them in an airtight container the next day. They'll usually crack however you store them afterwards if there is too much moisture in the mix to begin with. Just takes practice. The "mistakes" will teach you a lot!

Another thought...make sure you are packing your bombs tightly enough. You shouldn't have to pull a muscle to do it, but it needs to be packed tight.

Don't lose confidence in your craft, you can't expect to have a perfect outcome with every new thing you try! It takes practice (sometimes a LOT). I also leave my bathbombs out over night, and sometimes all the next day (Some say they should cure for 24 hours) and then I just pop them in a cello bag and tie a string. I've never had problems with cracks. I also leave mine in the molds for about an hour before I release them. Good luck! and I know practicing sucks because with soap it's not like practicing drawing and using up some paper, when you screw up, sometimes your throwing your money away! BUT it'll benefit you in the long run. :)

I don't use oils in mine since they can make the bathtub slippery, but if I did, I would use fractionated coconut oil.

I've used sweet almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, etc. The butters make the water slick and "goopy" if you use too much, and you'll want to warn people that the tub will be slippery. I personally don't like that much stuff in my bath. I stick with coconut oil and vitamin e for my own personal bombs. Same goes for the bombs I sell.
