Ok I just made coconut milk soap with fresh coconut flakes. I froze the milk then I added my lye slowly to the froze milk and stirred. Then added the mixture to my oils, it took a little longer for trace though...then at trace I added my fragrance oil and the fresh coconut. I did'nt cover it because it has milk in it so I'll check back later to see how it turned out. I'm hoping I did everything right.

Sounds good so far

Just so you know, when I make soap with shredded coconut, it takes longer to cure as the shreds seem to soak up and then release the water. Basically, the shredded coconut acts like a sponge and eventually the water evaporates out. So don't be surprised if this happens. It took my last batch a good 3 months to fully cure.
