I am really new to soap making but it seemed to work for me now. Previously I had tried to speed up the cooling process by putting ice water below my soap loaf (the soap making videos from soapqueen warned us that the layers will come apart if we were to speed up the process in the fridge so when doing layers, it is better to leave it to cool in the normal room temperature) and the layers came apart after a few washes or when I was cutting it.
When I cool it in the normal room temperature for my subsequent batches, it seemed to work better for me, the layers are more adhesive.
Oh and as pre warned by the videos, we should not use soap bases from different vendors to create the layers as they tend to be of different quality and do not gel well. I am hoping embeds are more forgiving as I have some left over soap base that I want to use and I do not want to risk the layers coming apart so I will try embedding it. Hopefully that works
