A friend of mine has asked me to make soap as the favors for her bridal shower. I am more than happy to do this for her. I have so many Brambleberry fragrances, but I am looking for a perfect scent for a wedding. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which scents are geared more towards weddings that I should purchase for my friend to test? I have to admit, she is kind of a tough customer when it comes to scents, so I would really like some scents that will blow her mind. Thanks for your help

BB's Energy is a nice citrusy one. For something soft, I would try rice Flower & Shea. What kind of scents does she like? Fruity, Bakery, Fresh, Earthy, green?

Aside from what type of scents she dislikes, when is her wedding? What kinds of flowers will she have in the reception hall? Does she have a theme for the wedding and reception? If her theme is a winter wonderland, you wouldn't want to use tulips to scent with. So knowing these things will help you make a choice, imho.

Pardon me, but that Wedding Cake syas that it's for candles only. My BFF is getting married in Florida in May and her bridesmaids and me as her Maid of Honor is wearng different shades of purple. I was going to do Lavender and Vanilla to match her and our wedding dresses for tarts but i settled on an Orchid scent. I think that it actually might depend on her theme and/or her colors that she's using.

That is correct, thank you for pointing that out. Other companies do have the Wedding Cake fragrance oil for soaps.
Wholesale Supplies Plus is one of them and Nature's Garden is another.
I googled and came up with this link. You will have to check each out to see if the f.o. can be used for soap.

Thanks for all of your replies. My friends wedding is in September, but her bridal shower is in early June. She prefers soft and clean scents. She adores Kumkuat, but would like something different for her shower. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :P

I don't think you could ever go wrong with OMH FO. I have alot of family that love the scent.

Bubbles, what is OMH fo? All I can think of is "Oh My Hottie" and I seriously doubt that is it!

In clean and fresh, together with June, I think of lilacs, honeysuckle, lilies, lily of the valley, sunflower, and gardenias. In the non-florals I think of white tea and ginger, cucumber melon or cucumber berry, a citrus blend, champagne and strawberries or champagne mixed with one of the citrus or another berry, and, while I didn't care for it, my friend and Mom really loved BB's zucchini flower.

OMH is Oatmeal Milk and Honey

For soft clean scents I really love BB's lettuce. You could always rename it if you don't want to call it lettuce.

Llady hope you are feeling better! OMH is a wonderful fo my family also loves this one. It is upbeat, very enticing, and not stogy or old fashioned at all. It is an almost edible fragrance, and I add a touch of orange, or mint or clove to it. Just a touch. Oh yes I think it is a hot fragrance, meaning off the shelf popular.

OMH= Oatmeal Milk and Homes number one seller if I am remembering correctly.

Discolors dark tan but with a white swirl looks lovely!

I've done that, too, Tammy. Coffee always comes in handy during times like that.
