Teach Soap

Hey all!

I'm getting ready to order for the month, but as I'm looking into cheap thrills, sniffies and replacement bottles, I thought I would ask about something I had heard to see if it was truly true.

Can you reuse a glass jar for another fragrance oil if it has been used with a different fragrance oil previously?

Is there something you can do to clean the glass and lid to keep the fragrance oil from affecting the next fragrance oil inside, if that happens at all?

I truly need to know as I'm having to purchase jars to put my fragrance oils into. Baby food jars are not working for me as they're too hard to re-open for my hands to manage. (I have a chronic pain syndrome, so I need something easier to handle on a regular basis. Hence my purchasing amber jars.)

Please let me know if you know something. I welcome any and all comments and advice!

Great, what about those of us that don't have a dishwasher?

I do all the steps up to the dishwasher step. I do the salt routine twice with very hot water and let the salt sit for a day. Same with the caps in a jar. Two days seems to do the trick then rinse thoroughly and air dry. Works for me, no dish water. Oh if you need them to dry out quickly put a few sprays of alcohol into the bottles and that will help them dry out.

I use a hair dryer to dry the bottle out faster if I need the bottle again soon.

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I save and clean all the sample bottles after I use them. I try different blends in this 1/2 oz size jar, it works like a charm.

Hair dryer AH yes! TUSB!
