Any other ways to get nice even gray color in CP? I tried lab color, not working that well. Tried activated charcoal, don't like the added scent. Any suggestion?

Black or grey mica should work.

If your oils and butters are light in color, the black mica in a small amount should give you gray. If your oils are on the yellow or green side, you will more likely get a color that's khaki color.

I am wondering if clay would work for a grey color. Bentonite clay is a light grey.

check this out there are samples of oxides in clear and opaque which I would think is like cp.

I will try my luster black mica next time first, if that doesn't work, I'll go get some black oxide. Thanks!

i think lavender mica goes grey in cp as I recall.

I have a benonite (sp?) clay that is more grey than green that turned my soap grey, but it had a slightly green hue. The clay with a hint of the black oxide might get you to where you want to be.
