I have seen several cake and pie cp soaps on the web. I was wondering how they get the vertical line whether it be the frosting or the crust. Has anyone done this before?

The pie soap has horizontal layers. Are you talking about the drizzle over the top?

I could envision doing this in three steps.
1. Make the horizontal pie (no crust)
2. Take out of mold, turn crust side up and add a layer of cp for the crust
3. Add the toppings after the crust side is touchable.
Just my two cents, I haven't tried this yet.

Soapbuddy, I was referring to the crust on the pie. Or what would end up being the frosting on the cake.
