Hola.

So, I am making a blend of EOs to put in some soap for friends. I specificaly have chosen combinations that include base, middle, and top notes. When I make the soap, do I need to put a lesser ratio of base vs top bc top is more volatile? (i.e. 1base : 2mid : 4top)? Is that "logically" way for doing it...right? Or effective?

Depending on the whole blend, you might loose some of the top notes. Base, middle and top notes in a blend work the best in MP soap, perfumes, lotions, creams and other B&B products, but not CP soap.

Ok, I tried it without ratios bc the aroma balance was off. I'll def report back with results!

This is a VERY general outline, but I would start with 3 parts top note, 2 parts middle note and 1 part base note.
