Teach Soap

So here goes. Does solid (coconut, palm) oil weight the same when it is melted? Do you weigh it solid or melted? I guess this IS a dumb question because as I write this I realize I could do the test myself. Maybe you can save me the time:)

Yes, it weighs the same. I use solid oils and only melt what I need.

LOL... I have to say the title drew me here.
I DO believe there are stupid questions. "Are your teeth naturally that pointy?" for instance. The answer is yes they are but seriously? : )

Having said that, living in a house where we're constantly debating quantum physics etc... (I usually lose to my 16yo son btw), I don't really see this question as a stupid one. Some days even if you know the answer your brain just doesn't wrap around the reality of it so well. So, as Soapbuddy says, yes it does.

O.K., the thread title drew me here too. I can tell you for a FACT, there are stupid questions. I can come up with lots of them - and do it all the time.

In soaping I find sometimes my mind gets going so fast in one direction that I miss the obvious. So teach soap is a touch stone sometimes! LOL
