If you can wash the oil from the poison off within an hour of contact, you stand a fairly good shot at not having much of a break out, if any. Once you have a break out, using anti-itch herbs/EO's will help with that part of it. An Oatmeal paste can also help with the itching. The best recipe I have ever seen/used was with about 1/2 cup of sweet oil (the purest olive oil there is, ask your pharmacist for some)and 10 drops each of eucalyptus, thyme, and oregano essential oils (although you can use an oregano extract if you want), and 12 drops of chamomile essential oil. You can mix it and keep it for about 6 months if you use a dark glass container and keep it from large temperature variations.
