Hi everyone.. I'm new to soapmaking..with the help from Anne Marie and Magic-Hands..I've ordered lots of supplies for the Melt-n-pour method..My order is due in a few days and I want to make sure I have everything I need when it arrives so I can get to playing right away.. I have basic kitchen stuff..but I think there's a lot I don't have.. I have one measuring pyrex cup..do I need more? I do not have a scale or a thermometer, are those very necessary.. I guess I'd just like to know all the basic tools that I'll need if anyone cares to answer.. I did order the slicer for the soap..and I'm thinking of using a trashbag lined box for the soap-loaf mold..

Thanks for any help guys..gals...

I just tried the peel away and they are awesome.. you get them in the baking sections of course..I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond.. Brownie pan size they are like rubbery silicone instead of the teflon pans I guess..you'll know when you see them..they bend and warp in your hand.. I used it last night and it just peels away from the soap..no problems.. Here's a pic of my first soaps ever.. Oh..someone tell me how to post a pic.. I can't figure it out..I clicked on the (img) but didn't get the browse thing..I have a Mac..anyone else?[/img]

I know the pans you're talking about.. I was wondering if they would work!

You can get them in dif shapes, too. And you can get them in michael's craft store, and I believe I've seen them in my grocery store, too. It may be cheaper there...

How kewl is that
