I've used powdered wheat grass and it has stayed green for a very long time although it is a faded green. Haven't had much luck with spirulina or chlorophyl which turns to a brownish green in a very short time, I've heard that parley stays green but haven't tried it yet. Spirulina or wheatgrass powder is used without infusing just add powder at light trace. Check this link

Hi, I've only used it twice so far. I used about 3 tsp. for a 7 pound batch, so it's not really enough in my opinion, but it's still a nice earthy shade of green. I use only light oils and I add the powder to light trace. It's a nice color with the cucumber melon FO. Just give it a try, if you have time to keep mixing, you can always add more. I will keep using it even though it does fade over time.
