Teach Soap

I finally found a soaping site that discussed this wax and it said that "... When substituting Candelilla Wax for Beeswax in an existing recipe, reduce the amount of wax by half since since Candelilla Wax has twice the stiffening power of Beeswax." It also said that, when used correctly it would stiffen the soap, however overuse (in a recipe) would end up soften the soap.

Candelilla is better used in lotion bars, lip balms or lipsticks.
