1. Do you weigh out coconut oil in it's solid form or liquid form?

2. Is there a good website that helps you come up with EO blends, as in how much of each to make a good blend?

I do not think it matters which way you weigh it. I always weigh mine in solid form so I am only melting as much as I need

As it always goes by weight, you can use it either way. I use 92 degree coconut, so I weight the chunks. As far as essential oil blends, try this> Rainbow Meadow http://www.rainbowmeadow.com/infocenter ... select.php
You can tell it to how big of a batch you're making and it will tell you how much of the blend you need.

perfect. Thanks ladies! I have been weighing my coconut oil by weight when solid but I thought I saw somewhere on here that you should weigh in liquid form and it didn't make sense to me so I thought I'd check.

I don't coconut oil does that at least not the coconut oil I buy... isn't that palm oil?

if its warmer in my house some of my coconut will be melted, and some still chunky, it looks like its seperated but its not. i use the 76 degree kind.

Another question... can use use spirulina powder in CP soap? I know you can in MP but I wasn't sure if was different for CP.
