About to order 5 lb of shea and I don’t plan using it up too quickly, should I be worried about it going bad?

At best, shea buttur (unrefined) usually lasts a yr. Keeping it cooler and from temp. variations will help to give you the optimal time limit.

Does shea butter need to be heated beofre it's measured or can you use it right out of the container?
