Can you use rice flour as an ingredient in powder?

OK. Trying to make body powder that doesn't have anything funky like cornstarch or any type of chemical what can I use that can be bought locally.

I thought you were going to use it in soap. See if you can find rice powder instead of flour. Flour is coarser and might not be as smooth on the skin. Or try to pulverize it more in a coffee grinder.

While SB is right, the flour is a bit grainy and not good as a sole ingredient in powder, but, if you use it in a smaller percentage, it works just fine. In fact, it is part of my recipe and it is very well received! The key is to mix it with other products so that it is not the highest percentage. I also sift mine with the EO's at least 3-4xs and I think that helps too. Using it is a good way to lower the overall cost of the finished product, while maintaining a high ingredient standard. My suggestion is that you mix what you want together, then just rub some on your inner wrist. You will feel if it is too grainy or not. If it's grainy, add more of another ingredient. Much luck!

See, that's the thing, I don't know what else to add, I would use other ingredients, not just the rice flour, I just don't know what!! Thank you!!

I did Google it, I honestly try not to copy anyone's recipe though. i just try to get a head start and then take it from there. I do understand that it's impossible to originate things too much, I do try to put my own spin on thng if possible. Thank you, I will do more research!!
