Hi ihagi, I find that freezing the goat's milk, whether you used powdered milk mixed with water, or straight goat milk, which is what I use, works really well. When I add the lye, I add it a tablespoon at a time, until it's completely melted and incorporated. Just make sure that you mix it all very well. That way I get a lovely pale creamy bar of soap. I have made many Goat's milk soaps with many different additives, oatmeal ground, flower petals, honey, the works, and they have all turned out creamy pale bars, and so far, no problems. When I add honey, I always add it to the mix when ready to pour, it seems to keep to a light caramel colour, which is nice. Good luck.
