What's arrow root? (here in Australia there is a biscuit/cookie called Arrowroot)
Also I'm assuming saran wrap is the same as Glad wrap here - I did think you were all talking about a new loose fitting fasion item.

Arrowroot is the starch from the rhizomes (rootstock) of West Indian arrowroot. It's a a light, white powder that is used much like cornstarch. In bath & body use, it's often an ingredient in body powder.

Yep, Saran Wrap = Glad Wrap, both are brands names of plastic wrap here in the US.

Hi Miss Savon,

We have arrowroot too at Safeways and Coles. Its in the baking section and sometimes in the flour section depending on which store you are in! Usually it is near the cornstarch (but they arent the same). Most often down the bottom or right up at the very top - the areas that no one usually looks. Its one of those older fashioned ingredients that was used a lot by the grandmother generation that used to bake nearly everything at home.
