I’m new to the Forum and have looked around here where there might be a list of tutorials either video or stills that show how I can do swirls with colors, create peak and mounds etc.

I have been making soap for quit a while but have really not tried to get fancy with doing a lot of colors, swirls, and mixing colors together to get some of the beautiful affects that I see members doing. I have purchased some color samplers from a supplier and wish to start trying my hand at swirls mixing a couple of colors together. Are most of what I see the soapers own creations or is there some basics that I could learn from? I don’t sell my soap but would like to try some different things for the soap I make for family and friends.

Can anyone make some suggestions where I might look?

Welcome!
Swirling takes experimentation and what works for you. Some people swirl right in the pot, some do right in the mold and some use a funnel to get interesting effects. Make a couple of small batches and play with it. I would suggest that you have your soap at a thin trace, with no accelerating FO or EO. I use FD&C colors and micas which BrambleBerry sells. At the top right hand of this forum is a search button that you can input swirls or a specific type of swirl and search past responses. That could give you some ideas as well.
