I have to concur, I use NG as well, I love BB, their products are AWESOME, the shipping kills me though so I don't get to order too often but soon, very soon...... Anyway, there are so many sites that offer such scrumptious sounding FO's, some prices decent, some ridiculous. I usually purchase the 1 ounce vials just in case I don't like it. I also mainly make MP, maybe that's why I haven't had any issues w/ NG. WSP has free shipping, but if you notice, especially with the MP prices, I believe it's included in the shipping. I think when they decided to do free shipping, they jacked up the prices to go along with it. I have only ordered a couple of FO's from them, I don't like the fact that you can't order 1 ounce, the minimum is 2 ounces. In closing, I would suggest that anyone who is interested in purchasing any FO's or EO's from a company that doesn't equal BB's excellence; read the reviews whether they be positive or negative, this is a pretty good indicator of the quality of the product. i would never order from a company that does not include reviews on their site, that seems a little suspect to me. Sorry for the long ramble!!! :)

hi! I was shocked to see this getting replies still...but I learned a lot since I started it. =)

I mainly order from WSP and I love their oils, havent really found one I didn't like. They did adjust their prices to factor in shipping, but I find they're still reasonable, and i dont freak out if I forgot to order something, i just place another order! I love the reviews too, I always read them before picking stuff out.

I did just do an order from NG, and some of them I love and reordered. Others dont smell anything like what theyre suppose to be(in MP or B&B products). Hit or miss like someone said.

I also really enjoy BB but HATE the shipping, they'd be my #1 go-to if it werent for that. I only order if desperate for something they have that no one else does. They're FOs are really delicious, its a bummer its usually around 15-20 bucks in shipping anytime you wanna order something.

I agree - FedEx and UPS shipping prices for going across the country can get expensive! I am glad that you were able to find someone closer to you. =)

I was going to try Naturesgarden myself. I've been making sure to read all the reviews on each particular FO. I do find some "weird" ones there I can't find at BB. But even so, I rather order EVERYTHING from BB. The few FO's I have got from BB surpassed this one other place I got them from. BB's FO seem thicker and creamier and this other place seemed more watered down, if that makes any sense! Not as much sticking power in M&P as BB's FO's.
I would love if BB opened something on the east coast. The shipping is a killer. Even if I have a little money to spend, I can't spend it at BB because the shipping eats it all up  I have even searched the internet for M&P bases that have the exact same ingredients and can't find any really that are more local. NaturesGarden is in Ohio but they are missing my new loved Olive Oil base that I got from BB. I can't even order 2 lbs of it from BB because the shipping would be 12.00 for 6.00 worth of base . I'm pouting now, sorry to whine lol

I agree that the shipping costs is a killer. Thats why I don't order from them until I have a decent needs order to make it worthwhile. I wonder if they could use USPS Flat Rate shipping for alot of things. I realize that when it comes to FO/EO, that Fedex is the only one they can use (I work in a warehouse/shipping etc) and know when it comes to this kind of stuff, Fedex is exceptional in that area. But if you are only ordering bases, molds, etc.. I wonder if the option of flat rate would be better? Sometimes even non flat rate beats shipping charges of UPS/Fedex. We have one client that will only use Priority Mail for all the west coast orders. Customers get it faster, making them happier to reorder. No cost for shipping supplies, as they are free from the post office. I would also LOVE to have an east coast warehouse of BB stuff. It would be the answer to many of BB's east coast customers. May even produce more sales? :?: Well, lets us "Easterners" keep our fingers crossed...

Anne-Marie has wanted to open up an East Coast location for a long time. I think it is still a long term goal though...?

We do have the flat rate USPS boxes, however they are usually around the same as any other shipping method. Especially since not a lot will actually fit into them once you add the packing materials. The only time I have seen them be a really good deal is when we are shipping something heavy to somewhere like Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

It takes about 12-14 days for BB to get to me. I would be happy to pay less and even have it take 20 days to get to me! lol

Different people have different concerns with shipping. That is why we have the option to choose either FedEx or USPS at checkout. =)

There is a note section too, so if you want to request something we always try to do that. We do have the flat rate boxes, however like I said, not a lot can fit in them once you add packing materials. I don't think I have seen the new ones though, so they may be bigger? I am not sure.... You can request one in the notes section and if we can make it work we will. =)

I actually just saw that usps priority mail was a option. Probably because I had no fragrance oils in the basket. I was "testing" with 2lb of olive oil base. It said the shipping was 20.80 for 2lbs? I went to usps.com and typed in 3 lbs to allow for box weight and packing materials. It says it's 13.20 for 3lbs. It wasn't for any specific box size like flat rate, I made sure it was regular for use of any size box. I was wondering why the $7.00 difference? lol Fedex was cheaper at 11.00!

Thanks for letting us know! We checked it out and the weight of our Olive Oil MP base was keyed in a little high. It's been adjusted now so the price won't be so high with USPS now. Keep in mind that the Priority Mail option is usually more expensive for most orders with most companies though, especially when shipping across the country. With that said, a small amount of the USPS Priority price is also for insurance. If we didn't get insurance for them and your package was lost in transit, we wouldn't be able to send a replacement or refund you : ( So we opt for the insurance option to make sure that all packages have a little safety net :P

As for Flat Rate, we do have Large and Small boxes and we can ship some items this way but as Bramble Momma pointed out, size is definitely a limiting factor. We want to make sure that the packages are still packed well and don't want to compromise the safety of the products. For this reason FR option is a special request that has to be done over the phone. I haven't seen the new boxes either, maybe that's something we can check out. If you want to know if you order will fit in a Flat Rate box you can always give us a call at 360.734.8278 or shoot us an email at info@brambleberry.com. We're more than happy to chat about Flat Rate shipping! :P

I've sent large flat rate boxes to Hawaii with 25 pounds of m and p. No problems

I hate to say this but BB has lost my business for 1 reason. Shipping.

I love the company. I love their personal approach and how they do business. I love their commitment to quality and I love their commitment to provide us with the best possible supplies.
