Hello!

I am new to CP soap making. I've been reading up on it a lot over the past year and finally mustered up the courage to try out some recipes last month. As of today, I have made soap exactly twice- but I have a feeling I will be doing a lot more! In addition to blogs and videos (especially Soap Queen TV), I've started to accumulate books. I've found that each one introduces me to some new technique or information that I hadn't considered before. What books, blogs, and videos do guys and gals recommend?

So far my library contains:
The Soapmaker's Companion by Susan Miller Cavitch
Smart Soapmaking by Anne L. Watson
The Complete Idiot's guide to Making Natural Soap by Sally W. Trew and Zonella B Gould

Books I'm interested in:
Soap Maker's Workshop: The Art and Craft of Natural Homemade Soap by Robert S. McDaniel
The Everything Soapmaking Book: Recipes and Techniques for Creating Colorful and Fragrant Soaps by Alicia Grosso

I have it as well and love it! My "go-to" book. I think I've read it about 10 times already.

I have 4 binders that I keep all the info etc that I have gathered from this forum and a class that I went to. I use them more than the soap making books I have.

I have all of those, including McDaniel's, which is very good. I like his attitude--similar to Miller's: it's just soap, be careful, but have fun with it.
