Hi, I'm a little green at soaping. I do a lot of HP soap. Yesterday I did a hp soap and used 1/3 dead sea salt in my water before I added lye. Recipe was oo, co, and pro. It turned out snow white, but.... It crumbles easily. Could it be too much salt to 12 oz water, or is the recipe of 10 oz coconut and palm kernel oil each, too much? Other than that it is the best soaping bar I ever felt.

It's possible that the dea salt salt displaced some of your lye. Does the soap zap?
