Teach Soap

On the BB web page it says that Dragon Blood turns the soap dark brown because of the vanilla. However it says to sprinkle some gold mica on it or "veins" of gold. How do you do veins?

The way I do veins is I separate a small amount of soap and add quite a bit of gold mice. This gets gently swirled back into the soap to create veins.

Dragons Blood will definitely turn your soap dark brown. That is what I was using when I made my "Migraine" batch. It is some powerful stuff.
My wife names the soap I make based on her perception of it - and she does not like Dragons Blood.

So what did she name it?

Didn't mean to scare you. Some of the friends and family liked the scent, others didn't. That particular batch I did was my first attempt at CPOP, so the smell permeated all the rooms on the main floor of our house. Usually I pour, then whisk the mold to the basement furnace room to set up for a day or two.

Not all Dragon's Blood fo will discolor.
