Teach Soap

I have a few standard recipes that I use regularly. The cost per batch is similar for each recipe when no essential oil or color is added. However, some of my soaps use more expensive EO's than others... making the price per batch for those soaps much more expensive. One of my most popular soaps actually costs 50% more to make than any of my other soaps because of the EOs. How do you deal with recipes like this? Do you price them higher than your other soaps or accept a smaller profit?

I would price them higher and sell them as specialty or limited edition soaps.

As a consumer I would understand this. Just keep it clear- like have a basic line with one price and say a spa line with an upgraded price. Maybe change the labels so that each line is easily identified, or change the packaging? Just some ideas.

Or sell it as a "theraputic" line sine they contain EO and not FO. Perhaps an extra $1 per bar?
