Hey there, I have never boiled the beer myself, and my soap has always turned out. I just open the bottle and measure how much I need, and they have it in a container for a day or two and stir it some so its flat. Then you want it cold from the fridge, helps to keep it from getting quite as hot. I did a batch a couple days ago and had the beer sitting on the counter, and it was warm, and I almost did a valcano, because I was used to it being cold. I use the same amount of beer as I would goats milk, and I seem to find that the beer soap traces faster then the goats milk, could just be me! P.S. I also am going to venture into wine soap making, going to do a batch tomorrow with some of my homemade wine ( not the best flavor, not really into red), I will let you know how it goes!
