Teach Soap

I had my first bazaar this last Saturday. . . it was so much fun. I selected one that was inexpensive but in the same town and same day as another very large bazaar. Turned out it had excellent traffic even though it was a smaller one. I had a $300 day and was excited about that but. . . have any of you experience people that practically pushed the bars of soap right up their nose then put it back on the rack? I was so grossed out. So, today I ordered one of those National Shrinkwrap systems for my soaps, especially the indvidual mold bars that are so hard to wrap anyway. Hopefully customers will just stick to the tester bar and keep their noses off the goods!

Congrats on your sales! Yes, I've had people come up to my booth and stick their noses right on my soaps.

Wonderful!!!! I live in WA too. How was it getting around on the roads? I was completely snowed & iced in yesterday!

As far as getting around - it wasn't bad. The snow and freezing didn't hit us until Monday and is still here. Aberdeen is close to the ocean so we are maritime climate.
Good luck when you do your first bazaar. I came prepared with lots of soap and this was good as I sold alot. I also ran out of change money but there was a bank across the street that was open on Saturday. It was educational learning what people are willing to spend hard earned money on. Nice but not too fancy. I will be better prepared next time around. You'll have a blast once your ready to do one.
