Teach Soap

I was out today to get some soaping hardware. I stopped in to Bed Bath and Beyond for a scale.

And I saw these shot glass ice trays. They make little shot glasses out of ice. I thought for a while before buying them. But I thought they would make an excellent addition to my M&P collection.

Although I was mainly buying for CP, I couldn't help but think about all the neat little glasses and drinks I could make with this mold! (Soap drinks, they might smell nice, just not taste nice. LOL)

Those are cool! I've seen (Etsy?) MP soap made with these molds.

Awesome! I'm picturing "salted" rims, and floating cherries, olives, ice cubes.... and you can call them "body shots"! lol. I love it!

Yay! I can't wait to see them! I haven't done any MP, but I LOVE how versatile it is!

I figured out that I should use petroleum jelly or something to line the molds first.
A failed attempt to pull them out... I pried them out with a knife. LOL

My first attempt at Mojito shots.
They smell minty. I don't have a citrus or lime fragrance. So I'll just fend with what I have. silly me though I was impatient, and I already had the "drink" ready before I even had the glasses out of the mold. So I had to pour it and let it harden for another time. I'll have to scavenge my house for petroleum jelly, or a similar product.

But I do have coconut too, so I might make coconut shots.

I'm going to see if I can find some of these molds!. I'm thinking of doing a package gift for my sister- soap "body shots", chocolate and white chocolate candy shots, and then another set of the actual molds for making ice shot glasses. Perfect for a party girl! Great favors for a bachelorette party too!
I think coconut would be awesome! And minty mojitos are awesome too! I can't wait to see them!
