everytime I'm in the mood to look at "Soap porn" I get on Etsy & just browse & browse.
Theres a Soaper on there called " inner earth" & ....OMG drool I wish hope & pray to make such beautiful soap with such perfect peaks

and another thing who the heck does all the soap glamour shots ? Everbodys soap pictures look professionally taken! I tried to take some pics of my soap & they did not look like the folks on Etsy.
I got window blinds, dust on the desktop & my handmade soap warts & all!

I love my soap porn too Good to know I'm not the only one. I like the stuff that Magichands used to do, but alas, she is retiring at the end of the year. SoapyLove has some really amazing MP soaps, they are works of art! Ah, all the soap out there and so little time
As for pictures, SoapyLove did a guest blog on soapqueen's blog a while back about taking photos. The whole set up (the way she did it) costs about $20 at the craft store, no joke! It's just foam core board and some craft paper. I can't find the link right now, and I'm tired. I'll check in the morning for you if no one else has found it.

Yep I do soap porn, best ones are Google images Cold process soaps, pages and pages of the most amazing soaps and ideas. Awesome. I'm drooling thinking about it. I didn't know you called it 'soap porn', very appropriate, I do it nearly every night, or at least 4 times a week. Happy soaping!!!!

What I like to do is every now and then click on a link that is connected with a tread here on the forum. I love what everyone does and love the support\teaching we can offer. The forum soapers are the ones that I admire and aspire to be like!

Magichands was a virtual mentor for me her soaps are all about luxury in my opinion and they feel so special. Her salt bars are simply spectacular.

I love looking at photos and they at night when I relax pictures come to mind of soaps I want to make. It is my joy and passion to make soap. I still haven't been able to produce the Patti Flynn peaks but one day I will understand how to do that too! Alicia Grosso "The Everything Soap Making Book" author is also one of my soap heroines! Her book has been on my nightstand for 2 years and I still use it!

Great responses guys! I really love that we can support each other. I'm a toatal newbie & really not a crafty person at all but I love to cook & I love good soap ,so somehow I've found a passion. I hope its not a phase & That I'm not just gung ho now & then I'll get bored ( Its been known to happen)
