I would like to make a large batch of CP soap with pumpkin spice FO. I know this will discolor M&P but will it also discolor CP? I was planning to color the soap with merlot mica.
Thanks!
Peggy

Yes it will discolor from dark tan to brown in CP.

I hope to soap this later today with some canned pumpkin, I will post some pics. I am hoping it will end up looking like a nice, dark pumpkin pie but we will have to see.

I make it and it becomes a nice perfect pumpkin pie color without adding any color to it at all.

when I made my pumpkin soap, I divided the soap and used the pumpkin with some almond FO and copper mica. The spice FO went in with out any colorant and then I swirled the two... worked nicely. Not a lot of difference but enough to be able to tell. And I love the fragrance combo.

I did mine with caned pumpkin puree also, left majority no color added and some colored with dark cocoa powder and some bleached by titanium dioxide, pot swirled and poured, with a little vanilla white cream top. It came out smelling so good... only if I can eat soap!

It smelled sweeter when I was pouring. Then it smells spicier everyday getting cured! I hope the sweetness won't eventually disappeared on me...
