Teach Soap

I have some micas that I bought from Brambleberry to use in MP and have recently started CP. I've made a couple of batches (no colorants)...and I'd like to use what I already have for colorants in my next batch. I looked at the descriptions of the micas to see what info there was for using in CP, but didn't see much and was wondering if anyone has used these in CP. Here is what I have:

aqua pearl
merlot
orange- fades in CP
cappucino
super blue
super pearly white

The only thing I found was the orange mica fades in CP. Anyone have experience working with these in CP?

If it's the Merlot Red Mica, I have used that successfully in CP so far, makes a nice red. I believe the cappuccino will work too. Don't know about the others.

The super pearly white is better dusted on top of your soap. CP soap doesn't refract light, so this mica would be lost inside.

I have the super blue and used a fair amount in my CP, but it disappeared on me. My batch turned back into it's normal oil color. There was no blue at all, maybe it was my recipe, don't know.

If you want a nice blue, try ultramarine blue.

just thought I'd update: I used the orange mica in a batch back in November. It hasn't faded much at all...but then I was going for a light peach color (mango scent), not bright orange.
