I am wondering, if I use a fragrance oil such as almond would that cause an allergic reaction to someone who has nut allergies? I am thinking that this is a synthetic chemical and not related to the actual nut or the oil of that nut - right? Any ideas on this?

I think you are probably right, but I would contact the manufacturer of the oil to be positive.

If it's made in a lab, it most likely doesn't have any nut components in it. If in doubt, ask your vendor.

just to let you know, I did write to BB and ask the question. They are waiting back to hear from their supplier. I'm not worried about a lawsuit.... its my grand-dtr and I would not let her use any soap I was not 100% sure is safe for her.

Just wanted to let everyone know... I heard back from Leah at BB today and the almond FO does not contain any nut allergens!! Fantastic. I will now forge ahead with the next project knowing my granddtr will be able to use this one!
Also wanted to say it is great to have a company stand behind what they sell and help their customers when issues arise. BB has my loyal support!
