it seems like every batch of soap opens the door for a new learning experience. I tried to make Ann-Maries Pumpkin soap. It called for a table spoon of copper sparkle. Wow. A little of that stuff went a long way!!! I doubt this is going to look anything like pumpkin pie.
As usual I had my accelerated trace problem. Soaped at 110 degrees. Add extra water. Boom!!! Too thick to incorportate anything very well. I admit I had to use Pumpking Pie FO instead of the Pumpkin Spice the recipe specified. I almost think I have too good of a stick blender. It is an Oster and seems to have two speeds...........fast and faster. I am ready to try the lecithin suggestion (how much per pound?) and not expirement with new FO. Stick with my tried and true, Oatmeal, Milk and Honey, Cranberry Fig, Energy, Champagne, Yuzu and Rain. Either that or I am going to start hand stirring.
