Hi, I have been looking at some soap pictures on blogs recently and seen soaps that look like a pvc pipe has been used to make a log which has then in turn been embedded within a loaf mould to make the final soap, I have a 2 questions regarding this:
1) how do you produce amazing swirls in a pvc pipe? they are so clear and crisp I cannot believe that it was done in the in the pot method.
2) how do you get the log soap to stay centered within the loaf mould, surely the weight would mean it would sink?
Anybody who can help? I'd love to make my soaping to a more advanced level and love the look of these, if you need to know exactly what i'm rambling on about, the etsy shop Kristy's Lovely Lathers has the best examples i've ever seen, check out this link....
