Teach Soap

Does anyone know of a list of additives to put in Shampoo and Conditioner bases? I found an SLS free shampoo and conditioner that I have been playing with from New Direction, but I am wanting to see if I can improve it. I have fine hair and I would like to see if I can find a way to get the shampoo/cond. to help make my hair more manageable.

I know some people make their own, but I doubt a CP based one would work well on my hair. Its fine and a bit curly....

You could try adding some panthenol.

Something I did when I first started making shampoos was once I had the base recipe the way I wanted it I got a bunch of these clear 3oz. cups. I would pour some shampoo into each one of them and then add just one additive to each cup and mix. Then when you try them you get a real good idea of what each item does for your hair and to see how they each mix with your base. Then when you find what you like start doing the same thing again but try different combanations of the ingredients you like untill you have it just the way you like it. You will end up with really clean hair while you are doing the testing as well.
