hi
I'm going to keep this short because I don't want to make this a touchy subject. It's kind of a rant if you will..
I'll start off by saying.. I have no problems with using bases, my body butter and whipped soap is a base. The only thing I say is "made to order" which it is, since I have to whip the soap and add FO to the body butter. With that being said, I found a seller on Etsy, thought her stuff looked awesome and was like "If she can make that, so can I!" I then wanted to create a 4 step facial regimen for dry skin. I remembered a website with a face cream recipe that I put in my favorites. When I went to look, I came across another website I had only dropped in there and never looked at. When I was looking at some of their bases, I thought some "weird" ingredients looked familiar. So this person that really sounds to have handmade these items, is really using bases. That makes me think I can't create anything from scratch lol Which I really want too, because I'm not feeling too creative using all bases. Like I said I have no prob with bases, but kinda do when the person acts like it was made from scratch.
They sell VERY well on Etsy and seem popular on the internet. That is all I'm saying on the subject lol
Edited to add: Is making lotion THAT hard? Because that is what I wanted to try next!
