Hello. I'm Kathy and I'm glad to have found Teachsoap.com

I'm so new to soap making and I have been reading everything to get an idea of what to do. I know I will be starting out on M/P in which I have bought goats milk base and scents. the thing I didn't get yet is color. From what I read I need to buy a color piece soap to melt until I get the color I want. I do hope that is right. I have also continued to read about the cold process. I would like to try this also but need to get the supplies together first.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks
Kathy

Welcome Kathy!
You can use liquid colors or micas for your MP soap. BrambleBerry has some really nice ones. http://www.brambleberry.com/Colorants-C181.aspx

Welcome Kathy!

Here is a link to colors that I know from friends works well in m and p! Hope this helps. The bottles have little droppers so it is convenient.

Hi Kathy,

Welcome. Don't worry if you get overwhelmed with ideas and a big list of things to try - you will get there!
