Teach Soap

Hi, putting stuff in my basket at BB to see what I can get. If a frag oil description says it discolors CP does it discolor MP also?
I have no problem with it, most I would just leave the color they become but wanted to make sure they DON'T end up clear in case I decide not to purchase that much mica.
If this helps, right now I'm interested in
Beau Brummel (which I want to color brown)
Berrywine (which I want to use Merlot Mica)
Cranberry Fig
Almond Biscotti
Rum Nut Cake
Gingersnap
Oatmeal Milk Honey
Cinnamon Sugar
REd Apple
Dark Chocolate
Hot cocoa (new)
I actually rather them discolor nicely, saves me money on coloring lol
One other question, if I use just mica will it be clear with sparkles or should I use mica in addition to a pigment type. Or does the mica actually color it throughout?

Usually, if the FO discolors in CP, it will discolor in MP as well. For mica in MP, in clear base, it will sparkle more as clear soap is reflective. In white MP, it will color, but since the soap is white, no light will pass through it, so it will sparkle less and add color.

And add the merlot mica to it, it should end up kinda dark but kinda see through at the same time? lol I mean it doesn't have to be completely dark, I just wanted it to look like a wine color since I was using berrywine frag oil

ok thank you, I think I got it! While I'm here lol I have another question ugh sorry!
some that say discolors to brown..now in clear soap would that be an ugly brown? lol I do kinda like some soaps that look "creamy" but I am assuming they are white soap to begin with not clear. I'm just trying to debate if I should add any brown colorants to "help" them along or if they are just going to be plain brown and see through. I hope that makes sense!

It depends how much fragrance you add and how much of the discoloring element that fragrance contains. The less color and fragrance you add (discoloring), the more the clear soap will be see through.
