Hi,

I made that soap using the regular swirling method from: http://www.brambleberry.com/Online-Videos-C271.aspx No oven cook time.

The soap got white as it hardened up. In the first photo, it was translucent because the oils were still well, pretty oily! =)

Thank you everyone for your nice comments on my first batch! I ventured into ITP swirling today and I learned so much from making this batch. It was a recipe I created myself based on what I have learned about CP and using the SoapCalc/BB lye calcs, and I soaped a little warmer than last time as well as used new oxides/micas I haven't used before.

The result is my Blue Pineapple. :lol:

It's BB Pineapple Cilantro FO with ultramarine blue oxide and rose mica. What was neat for me to see is that the rose mica morphed before my eyes to purple, then disappeared after the pour! It's gelling right now and I am very happy with my latest experiment. I also got to experience a very fast trip from thin to medium thick trace, so the pot swirl was a fast process, which is also why the top looks kinda gloppy. LOL

Edit: Here they are today, unmolded. The pink disappeared but I think they left an interesting effect. No zap and already sudsy. Can't wait for cure.

I love the swirls with the shades of blue... with coloring like that who needs a rose color? Great work.

Here is today's project, won't cut for a few days as it is heavy OO! New recipe with new crisco experiment here!

My best swirls to date! The colors will change as it cures I think!
