Teach Soap

Hello everyone. I am trying my hand at all different types of products so I can narrow down what my little business will offer!! Anyway, I see a lot of people doing the perfume thing but there is one thing that I am confused about.
1. Perfumer's Alcohol - What's in it and do you use it directly from the bottle? If not, what would you add to it and what is the ratio of fragrance/essential oil?
2. Perfume oil - How would I make this? Jojoba oil and the oil that I will be fragrancing it with? hat else would I add to it?

Perfume is the richest and longest-lasting product of a fragrance line with 20-40% aromatic compounds.
Parfum contains between 10-30% aromatic compounds, making it the second strongest fragrance.
Eau de Toilette is a perfume solution with a 3-8% aromatic compound in an oil and water base.
Eau de Fraiche (also called toilet water) has the lowest concentration with 1-3% essential oils.

Perfumers alcohol is specially made for perfumes. It can be used as is. The reason that water is used with alcohol perfumes is to dilute the smell of the alcohol. Most perfumes will list some sort of solvent (DPG for instance) alcohol and water. Sometimes you need the solvent part to dilute the fragrance compounds that aren't water or alchohol compatible. You can make perfumes with 100 percent perfumer's alcohol, but the smell of the alcohol is pretty potent. The more water, the less expensive for the manufacturer.

You can also use jojoba, fractionated coconut oil or just plain dimethicone. Dimethicone can make your floors like tile slippery though if you use it as a spray.

Thank you soapbuddy. Would I just add the fractionated coconut oil to the fo/eo or vice versa? What would the ratio be? I was thinking of having a total of 5ml.
