I just finished going through all 137 pages of this thread (over a few days)! All I can say is WOW, you are all extremely talented. I'm expecting my first order of soap supplies next week, and I can't wait to get started!

They are just to die for, what a great idea but that takes a lot of patience for that many layers.

This was my first attempt at M+P that did not come in a kit. I can see that it is easy to become addicted to embedding items! I'm sure I will learn with each batch I do.

Purple Molly - yes the fishies are soap... I try to keep small piece molds handy when I pour so that if I have alittle left I make imbeds. Sometime they turn out sometimes not. I also use them as small soaps in the downstairs bathroom... or just give them away. These happen to be CP soap with coconut scent and made with coconut milk. I know they will 'melt' at different rates but for right now I am just playing around. My downstairs bathroom is decorated in a fishing theme in rememberance of my dad... so these will fit right in.

You made me smile! That sparkle is from a sparkle eye dust shadow that I had. I have limited M+P supplies as I am just starting. But I wanted some sparkle in the water and went searching for what I had. Who knows maybe it is mica and I do not know it. I was just happy when the two shakes I put in the melted soap blended in.... surely beginners luck! Thanks.

The fact that you are using eye shadow means you get more 'cool points' for being clever and thrifty. And yeah if it is cosmetic and glitters then it is probably mica
