Can someone tell me if it is possible at all to cut salt bars with a tank?

HP was mentioned once, but I couldn't tell if you can make an hp salt bar or not? I'm guessing it would harden too quickly before you got it in the mold?

For cpop, what kind of molds can you use? I don't have a wooden mold, but may see if my FIL will make me a few this weekend. Is there anything else you can use?

And, finally (lol) what's the cure time? I've seen a few people say they use them right away, so is it like hp?

My CP salt bar went into gel really fast. I cut it within a couple of hours. I still let it cure for 4 weeks. It got so hard, you could have used it as a lethal weapon! I don't think you would get the same results with HP.

My issue with the salt bar is that its supposed to be curing, drying out in the air, except that it's wicking out moisture from the air and stays wet! I've had the A/C on a few days now, but I'm not really sure its helping that much.

air conditioners may not always do much for the humidity in the air, maybe try a dehumidifier instead =]

in fact, my ACer actually increases the humidity in the air (its kind of old), but i guess it would depend on your AC unit.

you could try setting out a baking sheet of dry rice near your soap, as rice absorbs moisture faster than salt (i believe). you probably dont need much, maybe just a cup or so spread out.
