Yes, it looks normal. Did you do something to the top of it? It almost looked like I saw a chocolate chip on one of them. See how it soaps when it's ready and go from there.

This is the larger size bar that was part of an overflow section I had ready to go. At the last minute I decided to change molds and had made my recipe for a different mold.

These are two soaps I made using spare tree inserts. One I put the insert in the bottom of the mold and poured over... the other I poured and then pushed in the insert. The trees are scented with grass and the cream soap with patchouli. I am hoping the photos come through - this is my first time using the photobucket.

Thought you might like to see the collection of bears I made as a family member request. These are the ones that did not loose any parts during the unmolding process. I figure I have one more set of bears in me.... maybe pink... and then the mold will go into retirement for as long as possible.

WOW what amazing work from all of you! I would love to learn how to make my soaps look that good. I am always too afraid to mess with them too long and cover and insulate them so fast. I love them all!

Hello,

I was inspired by KBShimmer's soap and her tutorial (thank you KBShimmer).

I was a little nervous to attempt this but so anxious to try it out. My sister helped me which was wonderful and eased
my nerves.

This is a my custom blend of Spearmint and Rosemary EO's. It's still in the fridge but I managed to take some photos. You can click the photos to see a bigger size.

I prefer making my soap this way. You are supposed to put the soap in the freezer right after it's made but I don't have enough room. I just keep mine in the fridge between 12-24 hours then take it out and let it sit for a day or so until it's ready to come out of the mold. Once it's cured it produces a very smooth bar.

I would love to see your soap cut soapchick!
