Me too!!! Count me in! I think a feedback form would be good - just to get other soapmakers input and maybe other ideas? I've had non-soapers come up with some weird and whacky suggestions - all of which were either un-doable or just plain strange!!! Feedback from other soapers would be constructive I think as we all know the constraints we work under! I make mainly loaf soaps so would send an assortment of "slices" so would probably prefer the "theme" to be pretty broad :D

Awesome! There's more of us than I thought :D

Ok so maybe 2 more days for sign ups and then we'll close it and figure out exactly what we're doing. Sign up by this Tuesday (11th).

So far we have:

Me (silverpegasus)
snowxwhitex
goddessbec
SueBre
pops1
chemicalx
PurpleMolly

That's 7 of us, so at this point we would need to make either 6 soaps each to send, or if we stick with the original plan we'd be making 12 soaps each to send. I'm ok with it either way still but some may find that a bit much. What does everyone else think?

What about just an Autumn theme? That's pretty open and broad.

Also does anyone have any allergies? We should find this out before everyone starts making soap. Personally I don't have any allergies, however I would prefer not to receive anything scented with jasmine or other strongly floral scents. I live with my mother and those scents have been known to give her migraines. I don't think she'd appreciate me having them open in the bathroom :P

6 soaps each sounds good to me - that way everyone gets one of each! Autumn is a lovely theme ... any fragrance ideas anyone?

6 sounds good to me too, since this is my first one you will have to lead me along .
I am in big trouble at the moment since a flu bout 6 weeks ago l have lost my sense of smell so l am having to rely on hubby for fragrance tests not the most reliable source so l do hope my soaps are going to hold up to scrutiny in the fragrance test. :D

6 soaps is good, I am happy with that :)

As for theme, I like both autumn and winter, so I don't mind, either have great potential for pretty soaps

I do suffer from atopic dermatitis and believe it or not the only soap that makes me break out is melt and pour goats milk soap. I've worked with clear base and white base and these are fine.

As for scent, I'm up for anything :D

I'm also happy to cater for everyone's dislikes of fragrance and allergies. :)

And I love the feedback form idea, I'd love some comments & suggestions from other soapers :)

I'm not allergic to anything but I can't stand almond fragrance.

I don't see any reason why not, especially seeing as you have a Melb address. It's not like you're any more able to participate in the US swaps than we are :P

That makes 8 participants and 7 soaps each now. One more day for any last minute sign ups. Sign up by tomorrow Tuesday 11th.
