Hey ladies!! Just curious. I want to make my hubby a few soaps, maybe wrapped in some manly looking paper for being such a sweetheart and helping me as much as he does, my funds are limited. I have no clue what scents to buy because he's a little fickle. He's kind of a rough and rugged guy with a big ole' heart. I have no clue as to what scents I might be able to try, I want it to be a surprise. He doesn't like any citrusy or woodsy scents. Did that make it worse? HELP!!!!!! LOL :?:

Hey, you should check out the masculine section of BB's fragrance oil.

Thank you!! I only order from BB for most of my items, their fragrances are out of this world. The only thing, is that I have not had the chance to order any of the masculines because I'm not sure whether they will stick in the MP. I am new to soaping, so I'm not sure if when they say it sticks to CP; does that mean the same thing for MP? Not only that; I'm afraid I will buy something and might not like the odor; that's why I was asking anyone to see if maybe their SO's might have liked some particular scents!! :)

Fragrances in MP work out fine. They don't have to go through the saponification process like CP does. MP is already soap. :)

Not liking citrus and wood... that's hard.

How about Ocean Rain or Bonsai or Fresh Linen or White Tea & Ginger? Those are what I like for unisex, more towards the clean fresh greener side.

Grass Stain is a nice green one too.

Cucumber or Green Tea might work well. You can also try scent samples for just the cost of a self-addressed stamped envelope for each fragrance.
