wat is shampoo bar?how is it diffrent then soap bar?

I think the difference is up to the maker of the soap. Some advertise thier bars to wash body and hair and some make a different shampoo bar from thier regular soap. Mine is different. I looked to increase the lather and the conditioning. But as a side effect the bars are just a little softer.

I make a shampoo and body bar too. And always travel with some. I take one small bar for me and my husband to use for the week . It packs easy, and no bottles to lug around.

My hair turns to straw if I use CP soap as a shampoo bar. It's much happier with a syndet shampoo bar.

I actually started using my CP soap as shampoo a few weeks ago just as an expirement. I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say I'm very pleasantly surprised. Some bars are better than others... most surprising is that my lemon tea tree oil salt bar is one of the better ones. I also have a bar made with hemp and castor oils which is one of my favorites for lather in general and it is probably now my favorite for shampoo as well.

I kinda thought the effects might be short lived but so far my hair still feels better than it ever did with regular shampoo.
