So, I know this is something that we usually strive to avoid, but I had a friend ask me if I could intentionally make soap with colored lather for as a party favor for her son's birthday party this summer, thinking that little boys would think it's cool to be covered in red and blue bubbles.

Is there any health danger in adding enough oxide to a batch of soap to purposely achieve colored suds? I'm thinking red oxide, ultramarine blue and yellow oxide and green oxide. Would it compromise the quality of my soap?

No issues at all. Overcolor away! Oxides will do it as well as Labcolors. =) Talk about a fun way to get kids to wash. This is also how you make soap crayons ...
