Hey Everyone,
This week I am making gifts for Easter.. Candles, Homemade Chocolate and some Soap.
I have ordered some white M&P base and a soap mold in the shape of chocolate bars.
I couldn't find any brown soap colour on my suppliers website, so I looked up natural colourants and read that you can use Cocoa powder to colour the soap brown. I am going to attempt a few different methods, White/Brown swirl, White on brown layered and I wanted to use something that would look like coconut.. now here is the part I was thinking might not be possible, or maybe it is possible, because I have read you can use
dessicated coconut in c.p soap.. but can it be used in melt and pour soap?
I wouldn't mind incorporating the coconut into the soap, and also putting some into the mold cavity first and then pouring the soap in so it gives it a coconut topping effect..
any advice or help will be appreciated
- Stacey.
