Teach Soap

My searching skills are very poor. I did attempt 4 or 5 times and now I ask you all.

Does this Massage Bar recipe sound like it would work with these oils?

4.5 oz beeswax
4.5 oz palm oil
4.5 oz safflower oil

If desired
tad of fragrance oil or essential oil, no color

Is there a thread on this already that someone could point me to that would be swell!

Depending where in Cali you live, that might be fairly hard. Drop the beeswax to 3.3 ozs. and see how well that works out for you. Wait at least 24 hours before you judge the hardness. If it's too hard, try adding 1.2 ozs. of safflower.

There might be more threads, but the problem is the search engine will not take three letter words like "bar" and the words "massage" or "lotion" are too common and the search engine will refuse those.
I normally suggest to start with 1/3 butters, 1/3 oils, 1/3 wax and tweak it from there.

I would also start with a smaller batch to test it - or else you might end up with a bunch of product that you might not be happy with.
