Suzanne and Molly wow just wow. Those slices are just very cool and the cupcake is 10 times better than I'd venture into. Thank you for sharing these with us! Inspiring to be sure!

Very nice Misty! The tops look like cool whip.

"Little Black Dress" i made 10 of these and sold 5 within the first hour of listing them online

Image

first tiime using black in soap and i added some pearl mica to make it all shimmery.... i dont like the scent, it gave me a migraine head ache (but then i suffer from them quite a bit)

Sliced loofah soap - gee i love these, felt like i was removing a layer of skin when i washed with one hehe

Image

a gift pack i put together for Mothers Day, already sold a few of these also, Lavender massage soap, lilac, jasmine, rose and gardenia soaps also.

Image

and this was a FAIL, was meant to be a swirl but the white sunk to the bottom and the black sat on top. I tried to do a two pot pour swirl (technical name? hehe) and i sorta knew it would fail so im not too worried. I scented it with pomegranate for myself to use. Interesting lesson though, the white has cocoa butter in the base and the black was just a clear base, so the cocoa butter soap is heavier than the clear...

Image

(just realised i took the pic of the soap upside down hehe when i made it the black was on the top)

Whoa bec you've been busy! Love your soaps! Is "Little Black Dress" a fragrance?

The loofahs are very pretty mostly loofah with color and not a big clumpy soap sticking out the sides. I like the look a lot.

It is my experience and loads of reading that the white soap contains TD and that makes the white heavier than a clear soap. I could be mistaken but that is my understanding, hope someone with experience tunes in on that for you!

yes, "Little Black Dress" is a fragrance, the description says - Bottom notes of White Carnation and blood orange are the perfect foil for the heart notes, comprised of sandalwood, black rose, smoky wood, and a kiss of patchouli. The top notes give a hint of toasted vanilla bean and whiffs of vetiver, amber, and the tiniest touch of Egyptian musk for a smoky, sexy finish.

i think its a perfume dupe actually.

thanks for your comments :)

Purple Molly, is that frosting M&P? I can NOT make M&P whip, it always goes solid too soon. I'd love to see some of Soapy Love's videos, but I'm on dialup, and I just can't dowload video content. Maybe I should go online at the library, and check them out.

Well, if everyone is showing off their lovely cupcakes I thought I'd put a linky to mine :]

The topping is my own recipe and not the teach soap one. I didn't fancy all the meringue powder and thought there must be an easier way just with the ingredients I have. I just need to make some more of these but it's finding the time! Oh it's scented with Strawberry!

Thanks :)

It's made from a bath bomb base and then the topping is again a bath bomb base but contains quite a bit of oil. I mix the bath bomb mixture, melt shea butter and a little cocoa butter, leave it to cool then add to the mixture and whizz it quickly with the electric hand mixer until it's looks just like an icing consistancy and then literally pipe it on. I pop it in the fridge to harden up and it's good to go after that!
