I've been browsing on here for quite a while looking at all your amazing soaps, so i thought it was about time i posted some of mine.


Scented in pina colada.

And then a few slices the layers fell apart, so i cut them up really thinly and embedded them in two loafs.





And this one was a variation on on ann-marie's valentines heart cookie cutter loaf project she posted on her blog. It's scented in rhubarb and apple.


This is one slice of a soap cake i donated to help a fundraiser

Thanks everyone.

Dragon Lady- i got the colour mainly by using coco powder. The bottom dark chocolate layer i use the coco power, plus dark brown oxide powder colour to make it even darker. Then the middle chocolate layer i just use the coco powder, plus i use a mixture of clear base and white base to make it look more creamy. The white chocolate layer is white soap base with just one or two drops of yellow colorant. I tried making it with just the soap colourants but it is to where near as good as using coco power. If you use coco power though, before you add it to your soap, mix the coco powder with a bit of oil to dissolve it. Then add the soap base to the coco powder mixture a bit at a time. That way its a nice even colour, if you just add the coco powder straight to the base then it goes all speckled.

i never thought of using cocoa powder!

looks so realistic, careful someone doesnt take a bite outta it! haha

All the latest soaps that have been posted are just beautiful! i especially like your rainbow soap Victoria , very nice

I experimented with double layers couple of weeks ago, and this is what i ended up with.

The scent I used was lemon essential oil with lemon citrus peel and vanilla fragrance. (goats milk soap base)

TXSoaper, those are great! The soap with the mug in the middle made me go, "Oh, wow!" Love the flower loaf soap, too.

Snowxwhitex, very nice lemon soaps. Lemon vanilla sounds yummy!

Some friends and I just finished an afternoon of making MP soap, bath fizzies, solid sugar scrub, lipstick, and fragrance stones shaped into roses. It was the first time they'd done any of it, and I thought they did a great job!
